We are an EverQuest2 raiding guild on the Crushbone server. Our aim is to tackle current content at a pace we can all enjoy.
Recruiting with priority: Coercer, Dirge, Warden, Inquisitor, and Summoner. We are always looking for skilled players. If you do not see your class listed, feel free to contact us here or in game (Dermott or Arasta).
After trying a few different pull spots, we finally found one that worked out well for us. The healers were able to overcome my AE calling deficiencies and keep us all cured, and alive. After only spending two half nights working on Tythus, we were able to give him a 'Slide' of our own! Amazing job everyone, keep it up!
At the end of a very successful week we decided to get us another guild first! It took us a couple pulls to get used to Kultak's brutal AE, but once we got the timing down and appropriate debuffs in, we took down Kultak on our third pull of the night! Fabulous work everyone. Stay tuned for more progression!
We decided to come back and face Xebnok tonight after pulling it for an hour last month. We've gained a bit of crit mit since our last attempt and got him down to 50%ish percent our very first pull! Our tanks did a stellar job with the charm rotation, and after everyone got the hang of the salts, jousts, and burning adds before they exploded, we managed to kill Xebnok! Great work tonight! Keep up the excellent communication and focus!
Wednesday we decided to return to VP and give Trakanon a visit. We spent the evening getting used to the hourglass and jousting out, and we started to see some progress. We came back Thursday and after a few bad pulls and exploding the raid from missed hourglasses, we finally got our ducks lined up and downed Trakanon! Inertia has finally cleared all RoK instanced content! Great work all!
With some time on task, and possibly a little luck on those pesky class adds, tonight we finally took down Byzola in Shard of Hate! Great job everyone and grats to the loot winners.
Our next goal is good ole' Trak. After first clearing VP last fall, we never spent time on him as everyone was eager to farm for class pieces. Before we knew it TSO was released and we've been busy there ever since. We have finally decided to go back and spend some time on Trak. Expect another update soon!
After our success in Palace last night, we decided to return this evening to finish off Absatalius! We had some info on this one, so it made the already 'loot pinata' mob even easier. We were taking bets on who would fall off the ascent of circular stairs to Tythus Tinzok's room, but no one fell! We gave Tythus a couple pulls, and decided to move to Tombs. We spent an hour on Xebnok and got some good info! Good job tonight guys!
After Tuesday's update we decided to split into two raids and peep inside The Ward of Elements. Inside we managed to loot 30 items, several being upgrades for many peeps!
And as I promised more progress in TSO! Time on task has definitely paid off, and tonight The Keeper of the Way, Switchmaster Zaxlyz, was slain by Inertia! Great work guys and gals!
Let's not stop here, and continue to push more new content!
After struggling for over a month working new content with less than a full raid, we finally filled some spots with some kick-ass players! Welcome you guys! With that extra boost and some advice (thank you Koinoo) we were able to down Strange Stalker! Incoming gloves patterns!
Many grats to those of you that have reached new DPS highs! Kampfer, Yash, Opti, Stridure, Zekfein and many others! Almost 140k raid wide parses with no Brigands. Keep up the great work everyone.
Stay tuned, I suspect some more progression very soon with our crew!
p.s. It's Girl Scout cookie time and Koinoo is a thief! JUST SAYIN!
We've all been busy enjoying TSO and failed to update... Congratulations to Siddeous, our first member to 200 AA's! You made it look easy!
So we've explored a few raid zones and managed to down Captain Ikalus, Senior Loyalist Tilas, and The-em-aua in Tomb of the Mad Crusader! Xythus Davian and Aransta were deaded as soon as we got the quested item, in Palace of the Ancient One. We've been plugging away at Switchmaster and have made some progress! Great work all!
The grind for AA continues, will update again soon!
Congratulations everyone! It took us a while but we DID finally clear this zone! All we have left is to kill Trak.
That being said: Some of you have missed raids and have made yourselves unable to zone into Trak's instance. We will have to have everyone - on time! - always! - to get this done. You must complete the quest given by the NPC in VP to allow individual access to Trak's zone. Inertia must continue focusing on our raid and raid times. I think it's easy to see how a little more time on task (20-30 mins a night???) has made all the difference ( i.e., 30 mins more last night completed VP before the instance closed, got Iron his mythical and would have completed the ranger mythical if we'd have had a ranger who was at that step (/poke Rable)).
I realize that sometimes it's hard to be at every raid but attendance really does matter. Kudos on pushing your limits and staying late to complete this zone. YAY Inertia!! We have approximately two more months to finish the Mythicals for certain of our regular members. Do not miss a night at all if you can avoid it - rearrange things every time you're able to do so. Reminder: You have Fri-Sun nights of no raiding, see your friends then (LOL)!
Keep plugging away and we'll have most/all of our class pieces!
Reminder: Inertia did not clear the T7 equivalent of VP (Emerald Halls) so this is a big jump forward and a feather in our collective caps when compared to the previous tier. Congratulations!
